December Financial Update
We are so grateful to the Lord and to all those who consistently contribute to our life together at Park Street. This year’s Mission Conference theme “On(e) Mission Together” reminds us that our Lord is on mission both around the world and here in Boston and that we are called to join him on that mission together. In light of this, we hope that we will steward as a community (as we determined with much prayer at the beginning of the year) the personal and financial gifts with which we are each blessed to support the mission of God in and through this church.
We encourage each of you to generously support our ministries’ and missions’ financial needs as we approach the end of the year. Our Ministries & Operations Budget and the Missions Budget enable us to share our blessings with so many—both within our church community and around the world. Our present situation suggests we will need a substantial surge of year-end giving to meet our budgets. May the Lord enable us to close this gap as we give with cheerful hearts!
Year-end needs:
$850,000 for Ministries & Operations
$570,000 for Missions

PSC Christmas Album Available for Streaming
Violinist Daniel Faris has recorded an album of his Christmas arrangements entitled “A Violin Christmas” in collaboration with Gabriel Ling, piano, and Nathan Skinner, organ and piano. The album is now available on all major music streaming services (Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, Amazon, and many more) as part of the series The Music of Park Street Church. A CD release is not planned at this time. A limited release in vinyl is planned for Christmas 2024. The original Sanctuary Choir CD “The Music of Park Street” and its companion CD “Hymns” (featuring unaccompanied hymn arrangements by Daniel) are still available for a $10 suggested donation. You can find them at the Info Desk in the Welcome Center.
2024 Candidate Slate Published
Church Clerk, Debbie Gallagher, sent an email today publishing the slate of PSC members who have been nominated to be candidates for the positions of officers, elders and members of the Nominating Committee for 2024. We encourage you to review it in advance of the Annual Meeting (SUN, FEB 25). There will be paper copies available at the back of the Sanctuary. Please visit parkstreet.org/candidates to view the slate online.

New Sermons App
Park Street Church’s extensive archive includes sermons from a 1934 sermon by A.Z. Conrad all the way up to the present day. This trove of preaching is now searchable using the new Park Street Church Sermons app. This app is distinct from Church Center, and was created by PSC members Michael and Taylor Le, who graciously volunteered for many hours to bring the app to life. Thank you Michael and Taylor for your many hours of work on this excellent app!
Click here to download the new app and start listening on iPhone or iPad. An Android version is in the works.

Save your used stamps and Christmas cards for WBS!
The Woman’s Benevolent Society (WBS) would be happy to “upcycle” your canceled stamps and Christmas cards. The stamps go to the stamp ministry at Shell Point’s Village Church in Florida, where residents trim and sort stamps for resale to stamp dealers. The money raised is used to provide Spanish Sunday School curriculum and evangelical literature for children in South America. The cards are transformed into tree ornaments, some for Child Evangelism Fellowship in New York City, some for us to share with homebound Park Streeters, and some shared at worship gatherings at rehab facilities and nursing homes.
You can drop off your cards and stamps in the box in the Ockenga Lobby. Please leave a generous border around each stamp.
Wilson House Room Openings
Park Street’s college ministry house has a residential opening. Twenty-somethings with a heart for undergraduate ministry are encouraged to apply! Six volunteer hours per week are required. Contact Director of College Student Ministries, Tammy McLeod for an application.
Prayer Requests
Collective Prayers
“…because of the tender mercy of our God, whereby the sunrise shall visit us from on high to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.” Luke 1:78-79
Let us pray together…
- That the Lord would continue his redeeming work of saving the people of the world, and guide us in participating with him on his mission.
- For those who are alone on Christmas, that God himself will make his presence known to them, and that this church would be a family to them.
- For those in our church who are gathering with family for Christmas, that the light of Jesus would shine in the dark corners of relationships and bring health and wholeness.
d that feel they are secure: that any foundation other than Jesus would be revealed to be insufficient, and that they (we all) would recognize him as the foundation of reality.
For the City of Boston: that Mayor Michelle Wu and other leaders would see the true needs of the city and act to bring health and wholeness to our neighbors.
For the elderly and homebound in our community: that they would be surrounded and supported by our church family.
