Writing Coaches Needed
SAT, APR 15 | 8:30 AM–3:00 PM | Park Street Church
Park Street is hosting a one-day grant writing workshop for leaders of faith-based organizations that serve citizens returning from incarceration. We are looking for coaches to help these changemakers tell their stories effectively and clearly when they apply for grants.
This is where you come in.
You do not need to be a professional grant writer to be an effective coach! This is a great opportunity to use your listening and writing skills to help others. If you have wanted to get involved in Park Street’s City Engagement Ministry but can’t take on a long-term commitment, this opportunity might be right for you. You will learn about the ministries in Boston serving returning citizens and learn a bit about grant writing yourself. Please register by SAT, APR 8.

Eligible students must have been an active participant or member of Park Street Church for a minimum of three years and must be planning to attend a Christian college. Applications are due SUN, APR 30.

Prayer Requests
Prayer Requests
“Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved. For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. For, being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.” (Romans 10:1-4)
Let us pray for….
- For peace over Israel, and for the Jewish people to have faith alone in the righteousness of Christ.
- Muslims to believe in the crucified and risen Jesus Christ.
- Those who have left faith, to be reawakened to the Holy Spirit’s call.
- Those who are part of the LGBTQ community, to truly know their only identity in the love and grace of God the Father.
- Boston-area churches, who abandoned the gospel long ago, to remember their former zeal.
