Come explore key themes of the book of Amos in this interactive, informal, four-week Christian Formation series led by Pastor Julian L. Shepherding a Small Group
SUN JAN 21, 28, & FEB 4 | 9:45 AM & 5:30 PM | Location TBA
This class will provide an opportunity to learn about launching and/or leading a new small group. We will walk through Jesus’ small group approach on the Road to Emmaus (Luke 24) to learn about the core ingredients of a flourishing group. We will also talk through some practical tips for shepherding a group all while embodying the small group experience in the class. This class will be led by Pastor Damian Long.
2024 Candidate Slate Published
Church Clerk, Debbie Gallagher, sent an email a couple weeks ago publishing the slate of PSC members who have been nominated to be candidates for the positions of officers, elders and members of the Nominating Committee for 2024. We encourage you to review it in advance of the Annual Meeting (SUN, FEB 25). There will be paper copies available at the back of the Sanctuary this Sunday. Please visit parkstreet.org/candidates to view the slate online.
2024 Annual Meeting Date
SUN, FEB 25 | Time TBA | Park Street Church
Please mark your calendars for this year’s Annual Meeting on SUN, FEB 25. This is an important time in the life of the church when we vote for a slate of candidates to fulfill roles on the Board of Elders, the Nominating Committee and as church officers. Annual budgets for the church will also be approved. Park Street Church active members will be allowed to vote, but whether or not you’re a member we encourage you to attend! More information about the meeting and childcare details will be available soon.

Nursery Team Members Needed
The Nursery Ministry could use more volunteers to help care for our growing congregation. Serve children ages 0-3 once a month during one of the services. Please email Stephanie Verrengia.
New Sermons App
Park Street Church’s extensive archive includes sermons from a 1934 sermon by A.Z. Conrad all the way up to the present day. This trove of preaching is now searchable using the new Park Street Church Sermons app. This app is distinct from Church Center, and was created by PSC members Michael and Taylor Le, who graciously volunteered for many hours to bring the app to life. Thank you Michael and Taylor for your many hours of work on this excellent app!
Click here to download the new app and start listening on iPhone or iPad. An Android version is in the works.
Save your used stamps and Christmas cards for WBS!
The Woman’s Benevolent Society (WBS) would be happy to “upcycle” your canceled stamps and Christmas cards. The stamps go to the stamp ministry at Shell Point’s Village Church in Florida, where residents trim and sort stamps for resale to stamp dealers. The money raised is used to provide Spanish Sunday School curriculum and evangelical literature for children in South America. The cards are transformed into tree ornaments, some for Child Evangelism Fellowship in New York City, some for us to share with homebound Park Streeters, and some shared at worship gatherings at rehab facilities and nursing homes.
You can drop off your cards and stamps in the box in the Ockenga Lobby. Please leave a generous border around each stamp.
Prayer Requests
Collective Prayers
“Give attention to the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to you do I pray.”
Psalm 5:2
Let us pray together…
- To the Lord who formed each person, that we would see his image in all people, and that we at Park Street Church would be a blessing to those around us.
- To Jesus our shepherd, that as his sheep we would hear and heed his voice.
- That the Lord who humbled himself and took on human flesh would humble us and show us where we can come alongside each other in peace humility.
- That the Lord of peace would bring about deescalation of the conflict in Israel and Gaza, and that he would be glorified through peace in that region and around the globe.
